Fishing at Tateyama Bay

I had a good time fishing with my family at Tateyama Bay.

We fished many fishes and cooked by ourselves.

The ocean was beatiful and fishes were delicious, it was pretty good for us!

Ohga-hasu came from 2000 years ago.

This is "Ohga-hasu". The lotus are in full bloom at Chiba Park now.

The source of this flower was only one seed discovered by Dr. Ohga's group in 1951.

On investigation, the seed proved to be 2000 years old!

It was very surprising that the seed came into bud and developed bloom.

How powerful the life is!

Unaju is delicious in summer!

We Japanese often eat an "Unaju" in summer. Unaju is a rice and broiled eel.

I went to the special eel restaurant named Kawatoyo near the street in Naritasan.

The cook was opening and cutting live eel and broiling it in front of us.

It's very aromatic and excellent.

If you have a chance to go to Narita, try to find it!

Departure for England

Today I went to Nrita Airport to see my son off. He is goingto go England for homestay at the first time.

He knew his watch forgotten as soon as he arrived at Narita Airpot. I bought a new one for him.

I stopped by the temple of Naritasan on my way home and prayed for his safety. I hope him to have a nice trip!

How wondreful Mt. Shirane is!

Today I got up at 2:30 a.m. and drived to Nikko to climb Mt. Shirane,2578m.

The weather was just right. The blue sky and the white cloud were beautiful. The wind blew cool and fine.

I enjoyed the sight of the top of Mt. Shirane.

Today was a wonderful day!

Iyogatake, the mountain of my hometown

At first, I'd like to introduce you to this mountain, "Iyogatake", 336m.

I love Iyogatake because she is very cool and in my hometown.

I'm so happy to see her everyday and to climb about 10 times a year.

But now, it is too hot to climb in summer!
